Philosophy Corner: The Bible

Disclaimer: This is my philosophical take on the bible. I don't mean any offense and may God shine his light and mercy on all of us.
Value of Life
Growing up in America, I would be lying if I said I haven't become desensitized to the atrocity of violence and suffering caused by us as a species.
At least until I started my funeral career.
I don't think people are mature enough to understand the weight of death.
Hell, I didn't know at first myself.
On my first job at the home, I found out the heaviness of death.
Suicide
Like all funerals, it was a tragedy, but what stuck with me about that funeral was the pattern that followed. Most of them were by the same cause.
I used to question these situations as if I was in control. At the time, I didn't know I was going through grief. It took me a little bit to comfort myself, which in turn led me to religion, but in that comfort, I felt more stress because I couldn't wrap my head around this low morale in our heavenly kingdom.
Until I read my Bible...
Postmodernism
Growing up in this era of my life, I can't explain how blessed and crazy it is to have access to this amount of information. We humans have almost everything at the press of a button, yet when I came around my family or my elders, they would hate for me to have it.
I used to think it was for manners, but it was something else.
"You kids can't pay attention to anything."
"Why don't you just enjoy life?"
"Maybe if you get off that phone, you would—"
You get the point.
I used to think they were bitter about our generation, but now I'm starting to see the problems occurring from the influence of the internet. Celebrities, crash outs and all sorts of unhinge activities are starting to get normalized in the mindsets of generation Z and Alpha.
Generation/Revelation
Call me simple-minded or whatever, but I see social media and technology as a tree of knowledge for some people. Instead of going outside or taking the time to understand their surroundings and communities, a lot of Americans have resorted to relying on the media to voice their opinions. Whether it be politics or entertainment, idolization has become the pinnacle of American pride and economic entertainment.
When reading one verse always rings in my head...
"Little children, keep yourselves from idols,"
From Diddy to Epstein, these powerful and influential figures have, for decades, shamelessly exploited the vulnerable. Their actions reveal a disturbing pattern of manipulation and abuse, showcasing a blatant disregard for morality and human dignity. The bible also mentioned this for it's followers.
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
If these pattern of exploitation hasn't already been clear. Recently, Trump and the house of the republic has been trying to enforce these religious principles while at the same time being the least valuing of the teaching of the bible.
If Rome has taught us anything it would be the persecution of Jesus. The people in power have always tried to silence people who claimed hypocrisy in their ways of thinking whether it be MLK, Ghandi or even Anne Frank.
Anti Christ and Hell
I hesitate to call people an Antichrist, but Trump and Elon really make it hard when they're always on TV talking about God and Jesus. Now, to be fair, I don't know the man, and wholeheartedly I hope God is watching over him.
But he rings some bells to me that are very similar to the list of signs from
Daniel 11:36-39:
1. He will exalt himself. (Partially)
2. He will heed his inner voice above others. (possible)
3. He will be hostile toward the true God.(debatable)
4. He will exalt human logic above faith.(Ngl he and Elon)
5. He will prosper for a season and be loved.(Plausible)
6. He will not desire women.(Debatable)
7. He will not follow the faith of his fathers.(Elon)
8. He will viciously persecute Jews and Christians.(Trump/zionism)
9. He will think of himself as greater than God.(Debatable)
10. He will become increasingly lawless.(Possible)
11. He will honour military power above faith.(Definitely)
12. He will love wealth.(Absolutely)
13. He will hoard precious things.(Possible)
14. He will become a man of war.(Possible)
15. He will wage a war on all people of faith.(10 commandments in school)
16. He will force Israel to ratify a treaty.(Possible)
17. He will divide Israel and Jerusalem.(Currently)
18. He will invade Jerusalem.(Debatable)
19. He will enter the restored Temple.(Debatable)
20. He will declare himself above God.(Debatable)
But seriously... what am I supposed to think from this picture?
Not only is he spreading the word of God, his country can't even fully respect the idea of him being so "holy" due to his controversy with Epstein which was excused for discussion due to a flood happening in my Lone Star State.
I think the Bible talked about this...
Deuteronomy 18:10-12
Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.
I can't say for sure, but I don't believe Trump was really concerned about the flood. I think maybe it was an omen for him, kind of like when the giants and Nephilim got washed away after the flood. If you don't think it's plausible, I don't blame you, but I saw his son and questioned...
Call me crazy because I think I've been reading too much religious text myself but seriously... the politics and mindset you have to have to even be in those types of organizations is insane!
I hope I'm wrong overall and that we actually got the gospel of God correct, but as a Black Secular Baptist, it's tough knowing what those types of political entities have done in the past, from these ideologies: slavery, the Tuskegee experiment, and the civil war on segregation. I pray that my people are cautious of blind leaders.
Your God Your Country
Genesis reminds me a lot of the new age of technology, specifically Apple and AI.
I know the forbidden fruit was never specified, but I personally see it as a metaphor for many things. Yet, the fact that all sacred knowledge is held in a single fruit reminds me of the company.
When I scroll on my iPhone, all I see is the influence of celebrities claiming they are gods or can manifest their destiny. Nonetheless, AI feeds further into the delusions of people online.
All of it seems eerily similar to Eve and the snake talking about the forbidden fruit in the garden.
Conclusion
I want America to prosper, and God bless America! I just feel concerned about the Satan of old spreading fear and causing ignorance among the people because, if history has taught us anything, religion can sometimes be used for propaganda and even war. As stated many times, war is hell, so let's not be led by Satan.
"And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”
